Rudbeckia Fulgida Goldsturm, also known as Echinacea Yellow Storm, or Coneflower Goldsturm, is instantly recognisable as the tall golden clump of daisy-like blooms brightening up a garden in late summer. Coneflower Goldsturm is an herbaceous perennial that will flower from August to October. Its dark green ovate foliage appears lush and fresh before developing a crown of golden yellow flowers that have orange to dark-brown eyes. Each bloom measures up to 12 centimetres across and attracts a variety of pollinators. The RHS have given Rudbeckia Fulgida Goldsturm the Award of Garden Merit AGM and it is popular with gardeners and flower arrangers for the strong colour.
