Delivery & Returns

Home Delivery – From £9.95 (2-3 working days)

Actual delivery cost will be calculated at checkout. All orders under £250 will have a minimum delivery charge of £9.95. Any Garden Furniture, BBQ or Water Feature order over £250 unless otherwise specified on the product page will qualify for our Free Local Delivery service which is 3-5 working days (excludes weekends and bank holidays).

Pallet Delivery – (3-5 working days)

Once your order has been submitted and processed, our selected courier will be in contact to book in the delivery with you and you will then receive a tracking link from our courier. If you are a local customer (within 30 miles) your order may be delivered by one of our own vehicles, subject to availability, and our Delivery Team will be in contact to confirm Delivery Date. Most furniture set deliveries will be made on pallets, this is to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition. The delivery driver will not be able to carry the furniture up or down steps, carry the furniture through a property, wheel the pallet across a gravel driveway or up particularly steep driveways.

Unfortunately, the delivery driver will be unable to remove items from the pallet or take the pallet away with them. The driver may only be able to wheel the pallet as far as physically possible which may even be the kerbside. If the driver agrees on request by the customer to move the goods beyond the kerbside then the customer accepts responsibility of any damage or injury incurred.

Pallet deliveries (Garden Furniture & BBQs) cannot be made:

· On to soft ground such as grass, gravel, or soil.

· To premises where it is illegal for a lorry to park or offload.

· Where the surface of the access road is very unstable, soft or muddy.

· Where the access road is on a steep incline.

· Where the access road does not provide 10 feet (3.05m) width clearance and 14 feet (4.27m) vertical clearance.

Delivery location

We offer delivery to mainland England, Wales and selected areas of Scotland. Anywhere outside of these areas will be subjected to extra fees and extended delivery times or, in certain cases, we may not be able to deliver. Please note we are currently unable to deliver to select areas of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands. Certain items are only available for local delivery within 30 miles of Hollybush Garden Centre. These items will be identified on the product listing and it will not be possible to complete your transaction unless you are requesting delivery to one of the postcodes in our delivery radius.

Additional Delivery Terms

· Someone must be onsite to receive delivery. If you are not in when delivery takes place then this will be rearranged and will incur an extra cost.

· If you are unable to be at home to accept your delivery, you may leave instructions, in advance, to leave your goods with a neighbour/nominated person. Please make us aware of any special delivery instructions prior to dispatch as we will be unable to change the address once delivery has been despatched.

· If you are unable to meet the delivery, then this will be classed as a failed delivery and we would rearrange but this will incur an extra cost.

· Please note that we cannot hold stock for you in our warehouse to be delivered at a later date.

· We cannot be held responsible for a change of delivery date due to anything we deem as an act of nature such as bad weather, ill health or traffic issues etc.

If you decide to cancel an order once dispatched, then a refund will be given however you will be charged a handling fee – see our cancellation policy for details.

Click & Collect

Once your order has been placed you will receive a confirmation order email but please do not visit the store until a member of our team has contacted you to confirm that your item is available for collection along with your designated Collection Point. It is our aim to have your purchase available by the following day. Certain items such as Garden Furniture may require to be loaded on a pallet, please ensure your vehicle will be able to load your item.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Change or cancel an order made online:

Please have your order number and date the order was placed to hand. If your products have already been delivered, then you will need to follow our returns procedure as per below.

Returns procedure for online purchases:

If you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in fully resaleable condition.

Returns should be made within 30 days and in original, undamaged packaging.

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct a percentage of the original selling price from the refund amount.

We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on perishable goods such as seeds, bulbs, flowers or plants unless they are faulty.

Returns can be made via either of these options:

Returns via collection: Please contact us on 01922 418050 or email sales@hollybush-garden.com with your order number, stock number, reason for the return, and whether you want a refund or replacement. We will reply with further instructions and will arrange a collection of the product you wish to return.

Returns via our Garden Centre: Simply take the dispatch note and the product you wish to return or exchange, informing the sales assistant you purchased the product online.

We are happy to exchange unwanted goods within 28 days of purchase on production of a valid receipt, providing the goods are in a saleable condition and still in the original packaging. Alternatively, we can offer you a store credit at our own discretion.

We do not accept refunds on any unwanted goods after purchase. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event your purchase is damaged please contact us on 01922 418050 between 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10:15am to 4:15pm Sunday for next steps.

Liability For Products Delivered

As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to goods that are faulty or not as described. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office. Nothing in these terms of sale will affect these legal rights.

Please note that the images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that they will be displayed accurately on your device. Please refer to the product descriptions on the website which will set out full details of the product.

Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaching these terms of sale is strictly limited to any losses which are a foreseeable consequence of us breaching these terms of sale. Losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by you and us at the time your order is accepted by us.

Except as expressly provided in these terms of sale, we are not responsible for any delay in, or failure of, performance of our obligations under these terms of sale arising from any cause beyond our reasonable control including any of the following: act of God, governmental act, war, fire, flood, explosion or civil commotion, failure in information technology or telecommunications services, failure of a third party (including failure to supply data) and industrial action.

We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • any terms implied under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or the Sale of Goods and Services Act 1982;
  • any liability arising under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or
  • any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude, our liability.

Except as set out above, we are not responsible for indirect losses which happen as a side effect of the main loss or damage including but not limited to:

  • loss of income or revenue;
  • loss of business;
  • loss of profits or contracts; or
  • loss of anticipated savings,

Provided that this shall not prevent claims for loss of or damage to your tangible property or any other claims for direct financial loss that are not excluded by any of the above.
